Starting 1st of April, 2025, Ministry of Transportation Alberta is launching a new Class 1 Learning Pathway, which is a tiered training program that replaces the old MELT program. This updated program provides a step-by-step learning process to help truck drivers earn their Class 1 truck licence and grow into confident, competent commercial truck drivers.
